Special Trade and Fisheries Ministerial meeting to review EPA negotiations


The review of the Pacific ACP (PACP) - European Union (EU) comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) negotiations along with key trade -related issues will be the focus of the Special PACP Trade and Fisheries Ministers meeting on 17 July, 2015.

Ministers will discuss the future direction of the comprehensive EPA negotiations with the EU, and will make recommendations to the PACP Leaders for their determination when they meet on 8 September 2015 in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

The Pacific ACP countries involved in EPA negotiations are Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
