The Pacific Regional Economic Integration Programme (PACREIP), an EU funded project based at the Forum Secretariat requires an Accounts & Finance Officer and an Administration Assistant to be part of their team.
Accounts and Finance Officer The Accounts and Finance Officer will provide financial management and support services. The officer will coordinate, prepare, compile and reconcile PACREIP financial reports and accounts for audit, assist in the administration of the PACREIP website and ensure the PACREIP narrative reports from all components are consistent with the financial reports. Applicants must: • Have a relevant degree either in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field of study; • Be a member of a recognised professional accountancy body; • Demonstrate exposure to financial and management accounting at a senior level; • Have proven experience in the management of a computerised accounting systems; • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to master new materials quickly; • Be able to organise, coordinate and prioritise conflicting demands; • Be able to work independently and as part of a team; and • Have a proven ability to achieve results within time constraints. The salary range is FJD25,296 to FJD37,944 dependent on skills and experience. Administration Assistant (PACREIP) This position is responsible for: • Maintaining programme records, including correspondence and database registers (including Assets Register); • Arranging travel for the programme staff, consultants/experts and the Pacific participants for attendance at meetings, workshops and seminars; • Assisting the organisation of, and preparation for, meetings, including budgets, travel, hotel and per diem arrangements, compilation and dissemination of papers and undertaking follow up actions on acquittals, financial reporting and other matters of administrative nature; • Assisting with quarterly budget reviews and reconciliation; • Disseminating information of the programme to all Pacific ACP countries; and • Carrying out other secretarial or administrative duties as requested from time to time. Applicants’ minimum requirement is a diploma in business administration or computer studies from a recognised tertiary institution with at least three years experience in programme management support work, and familiarity with EU project work in particular with the administrative and financial requirements would be an advantage. Competence in computer programmes and application would be an advantage. The salary range is FJD20,171 to FJD30,257 dependent on skills and experience. Both positions have provisions for life and medical insurances.
