We are looking for a suitable individual to fill the post of IT Network Coordinator for the Forum Secretariat.The preferred candidate should have experience in IP Networking Windows Systems and telecommunications support backed up by superior administrative skills. She/he would preferably (but not necessarily) have a first degree in IT or Math and Physics but more importantly will have: • At least two years experience in a similar role; • In depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and is able to network such systems • In depth knowledge of networking services including DNS and DHCP and the TCP/IP protocol suite; • Good working knowledge of the main Microsoft applications like SQL and Exchange especially but where knowledge of other systems will be an advantage; • Good working knowledge of storage management, data security and disaster recovery; • Good understanding of IT systems security; • Some experience in automating of IT tasks; • The ability to work well with the IT Team, the Corporate Services Team and with other Secretariat staff; and • The ability to deal with confidential information in a professional manner. The salary will fall in the range of $20,171 to $30,257 with appointments expected to commence at the lower end of the range. The package also includes the provision of life and medical insurance.
