The Ryoichi Jinnai Conference Centre is built on land donated by the Fiji Government and funded by a private Japanese donor, Mr Ryoichi Jinnai. The Conference Centre was furnished by the Papua New Guinea government and opened in 1994.
The Conference Centre is run as a self supporting venture. The full name of Ryoichi Jinnai Conference Centre should be used on all correspondence dealing with the Centre. It has a seating capacity of up to 200 delegates. Two air-conditioned and fully equipped conference rooms are available for hire to regional and other organisations when not required for Secretariat use, in addition to the main conference room.
The Centre includes a large thatched Samoan fale (capable of housing 200 guests) and a separate kitchen.
